Web Services technology is a central component of Intelligent Systems' vision for creating the next generation of intelligent systems. The complexities of such systems can only be handled by combining the knowledge and information processing capabilities of many specialized individual systems into an integrated solution. Web Services and XML will provide the glue for combining these diverse systems into a coherent whole.

Intelligent Systems is also incorporating Web Services into many of its current content management and business intelligence technologies. A recent example is the development of a platform independent SOAP-based interface for remotely updating text mining repositories.
